Vacancies: 7

Rural location - perform general farm labour including but not limited to: planting, weeding harvest crops, packing produce, tractor driving, clean work areas and machinery, fixing pallet boxes.

Work site environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold/refrigerated.  Fast paced environment; Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Hand-eye-coordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Combinatin of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, meeting tight deadlines. 


Carron Farms Ltd


  • Experience preferred: 7 months to less than one year
  • English
  • Secondary High School graduation

Equipment and Machinery Experience: 

Vegetable harvester, tractor, tillage equipment, planting equipment, loader, lift truck and combine harvester

Specific Skills: 

Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops; Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; Harvest crops; Examine produce for quakity and prepare for market; Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns; Write daily basic progress reports

Personal suitability: 

Effective interpersonal skills; flexibility, team player, judgment, organized.
