Job Description:

Responsible for providing cashier/receptionist services at the Gorman Outdoor Pool including providing general information to the public; processing admissions and registrations; completing daily cash forms; providing clerical support to the Recreation & Culture/Customer Services  Department.

  1. Excellent public relations skills to resolve public enquiries
  2. Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the program participants, facility users, general public, staff, community groups/agencies, etc.
  3. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple conflicting demands in a professional manner
  4. Good knowledge of computer programs such as Class, Microsoft Office, and internet.
  5. Ability to accurately handle cash, make change.
  6. Availability to work flexible hours (e. g. day, evening, weekend)
  7. Due to the responsibilities of this position a Police Information Check satisfactory to the Town is required.
