TS Tech Canada. has immediate openings for Assembly and Material Handling positions in its Newmarket, Ontario facility.  This is a 40-hour/week position with opportunities for overtime.  Successful candidates will be offered a 15-month fixed-term contract, with potential to go permanent in the future.

In this position you will work in our manufacturing production area building automobile seats from start to finish. We require people with an eye for detail and a passion for quality.

Position Summary:

Perform high speed assembly operations utilizing appropriate processes, tools and equipment, operation standards, and personal protective equipment, to meet customer quality, cost and delivery requirements.

Pay : $16.00/hour to start; $16.25/hour after 3 months

Hours of Shifts:

1. Morning Shift:     6:30 am - 3:00 pm (Monday- Friday)

2. Afternoon Shift:  4:00 pm - 12:30 am (Monday -Thursday)

3:30 pm - 12:00 AM (Friday)

The shift rotates every two weeks, e.g. you work for two weeks on the morning shift, then rotate to the afternoon shift, then back again, or vice versa.

(The plant operates Monday through Friday although, during peak operation, some weekends are scheduled.)

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for reading, interpreting and accurately executing operating procedures.     
• Responsible for verifying the accuracy of all completed work.
• Responsible for running various high speed assembly and material handling processes as  assigned.
• Required to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Required to communicate any quality and safety issues to management.
• Responsible for meeting daily quotas for production in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment as assigned
• Expected to perform other duties as required and assigned.


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation standards, and check sheets.
• Good organizational skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well with others in a diverse population.
