Job Description:

We offer shifts during week days and weekends, working approximately 32 to 40 hours per week. We also have part time hours available during the week from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This job may lead to a full time position.
 
The Server is responsible to serve meals during the school year as well as at special events and receptions. Individuals in this position have the opportunity to receive Smart Serve Certification, WHMIS and Safe Food Handling training.
 
Responsibilities and Duties
 
  • Prepare tables and serve meals
  • Clear tables and wash chairs and tables
  • Polish silverware
  • Clean dining room equipment, floors and surfaces
  • Set tables and serve food at special functions
  • Wash fruit
  • Assist with limited food preparation (cut bread/bagels and assemble sandwiches)
  • Perform variety of duties not listed, to be assigned as necessary
  • Comply with Health and Safety under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Comply with safe food handling and safe handling of cleaning chemicals (W.H.M.I.S)
